Recruit & Retain: Trucking Edition

Sep 26, 2018

Don Lefeve is the President and CEO of the Commercial Vehicle Training Association, the largest association of commercial truck driving schools in the United States. CVTA has approximately two hundred members located in 43 states, and each year those members graduate an impressive 50,000 truck drivers. In this episode of Recruit and Retain: Trucking Edition, Don talks with host Chad Hendricks about the Entry Level Driver Training rule and the broad-reaching nationwide impact it will have on recruiting, training schools, carriers and new drivers.

“We ended up coming to consensus on a rule, it served as the basis. On December 8, 2016, the FMCSA published the final rule, and all states are required to comply with it by 2020.”
